Job Description:

Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Enterprise and / or Hyperion FDM (UpStream) experience and strong backgrounds in Infrastructure design, installation, maintenance of Hyperion applications. Participate in the design and Implementation of Oracle Hyperion solutions for business user. Responsibilities include project related activities such as design, build, test, and training tasks, as well as documentation and knowledge transfer. You will be interfacing directly with business users and working with other consultants on the implementation of these systems. You will be helping clients implement HFM, Hyperion BI+ reporting tools (formerly Hyperion Reports and Analyzer), Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Hyperion Data Integration Management and Essbase.

The Pre Requisites:

BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related technical field Minimum 5 years experience in Business Intelligence including work with large scale, enterprise wide reporting efforts Expertise with common business intelligence/reporting tools, ETL tools and databases Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support. Ability to interact positively and effectively with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as with customers, prospects, and vendors

Technical Skills Required:

5 plus years Hyperion experience including 2 years experience with Hyperion System 9 as well as specific experience with version 9.3.1 HFM, FDM Planning, Financial Reporting, DIM and Essbase required
Minimum of 3 plus full lifecycle Hyperion Planning and HFM Implementations
Demonstrated understanding of multidimensional database design and architecture and installation expertise
Knowledge of Business Rules, Calc scripts, ESSCMD , MaxL and Smartview
Must have strong finance background; experience in Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting process
Oracle 10.2Rg database experience necessary
Windows 2003 server and Weblogic web server experience necessary
Works independently or as part of a team in efforts to perform BI development and support.
Works with business analysts, data analysts and user communities to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
Perform data analysis to ensure on-going data integrity and quality
Provides technical support during implementation efforts, working with technical team members and with business users as required to provide troubleshooting and solutions to technical issues
Provides on-going post-implementation technical support of BI and reporting processes, responding to changing business requirements
Provides insight into new BI technologies and industry best practices and standards and possess futuristic vision of the BI Technology

Additional Desired Skills

Nice to have good Understanding of chart of accounts, balance sheet, income statement and cash flow concepts
Nice to have good  Knowledge of debit and credit, inter-company transactions, elimination entries and other standard accounting principles Strong written and verbal communications skills
