QA Test Lead
Adecco Middle East is hiring an "QA Test Lead" for one of our prestigious clients based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Title: -QA Test Lead
Location: Dubai, UAE
Duration: 12 months and Extendable
Experience level: 5+ years.

Roles and Responsibilities
Manual Test Planning
- Accountable for QA test planning
- Lead the discussions on QA scope as per functional & technical requirements and identify scope, objective and levels of testing, test coverage required for project.
- Develop the test strategy/Plan project level
- Managing the test team, milestones & prioritize tasks
- Gather information, track clarifications, document functional impact and develop test scenarios
- Partner with Automation Architect/Tester for automation of test cases
Data & Environment
- Implement test data management strategy across environments based on domain / project / application
- Monitor environment availability during project execution
- Monitor deployments in environment and timeline for effective QA planning & utilization
Project Execution & Reporting
- Provide knowledge and feedback on QA processes and application functionalities to execute QA phases successfully
- Ensure QA activities are in-line with defined testing processes and templates in each project
- Contribute to knowledge Management
- Identify , assess and mitigate potential risks in testing process
- Collaborate between testing and development teams
- Track closure of project and measure the success of a project using metrics and KPIs and report the same to project stakeholders
QA Deliverable Reviews
- Responsible for QA deliverables in the aspect of quality, schedule and effort spent
- Participate in verification and validation activities on QA tasks using JIRA tool
- Review all projects deliverables – test cases, execution, progress reports, defects & end-to-end traceability
Requirement Analysis, Test Design, Test Execution & Defects Triage
- Analyze requirements, identifies ambiguities and ensures clear testable requirements.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test design and test execution phases
- Developing & executing test cases
- Review peer level test cases
- Raise defects and participate in defect triage
- Monitor and Communicate the defects to dev teams and oversee resolution of defect
- Follow all defined QA processes and participate in assigned QA activities as per RACI
- Share relevant data with QA Process Champion for continuous improvement
- Part of common QA pool to be shared across Al Futtaim projects
- Share reports to Project stakeholders
- Work with Project team in performing all QA activities as per program / project / domain
- Contribute to knowledge Management
Education
- College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in change & testing strategies and processes.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ISTQB Certified Advanced or Expert Tester) are desirable.
- Experience in Tricentis TOSCA, JIRA, QMetry.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Technology domain expertise in Change Management & Testing Solutions.
- Understanding of IT Service Management involving ITIIL and ISO 2000 is desired.
- Analysis and troubleshooting skills used to support end users.
- Coordinating people and teams.
