About the Role
Our client is a market leading industrial leader, delivering comprehensive solutions in security printing, identity management, packaging, printing, publishing, and logistics. Operating with a "one-stop shop" model, it is dedicated to technological innovation and fostering sustainable growth they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust network security architectures in a cutting-edge environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the organization's cloud and network infrastructure remains secure, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. This role is integral to their Emiratization strategy which involves identifying, attracting, and nurturing Emirati talent to help drive their business both now & in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Security Design and Implementation: Develop and implement secure network architectures, policies, and procedures to safeguard infrastructure against potential threats.
- Incident Response and Management: Create and execute response plans for security breaches or vulnerabilities in the network.
- Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing: Conduct security assessments and tests to identify and address weaknesses.
- Security Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor network traffic and security events, analyze logs, and investigate anomalies.
- Compliance and Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001 and PCI.
- Network Troubleshooting and Optimization: Resolve complex security issues and optimize network performance across multiple sites and cloud data centers.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including network architecture diagrams.
Technical Expertise Required
- Security Tools and Technologies: Proficiency with firewalls (Check Point, Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, Cisco), VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Network Protocols and Technologies: Expertise in routing (RIP, OSPF, BGP), switching (VPC, VSS, STP), and application layer protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
- Appliance Knowledge: Experience with load balancers, WAN accelerators, VPN appliances, and packet shapers.
- Cloud and Endpoint Security: Strong understanding of Azure Networking and endpoint security solutions like Trellix.
- Monitoring and Management: Experience with centralized tools like ManageEngine Op-Manager, CrowdStrike EDR, and SIEM.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA, CCNP
- CCSA, Fortinet, Sophos XG
- Check Point certifications
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in complex network environments with a focus on security and cloud infrastructure.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to security and optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
