Are you a dynamic and experienced professional ready to make a significant impact in the telecom energy solutions sector? We are looking for a Regional Site Energy Product Management Consultant (MENA) to join our clients team in Dubai, UAE, and help drive the competitive edge of their site energy products across the Middle East and Africa.
We are working with a leading player globally in the provision of remote power systems for the telecommunications industry. In this role you will be heading up our clients’ Telecom Energy Solutions business for the Middle East, providing innovative, comprehensive and sustainable energy solutions tailored for customers in the telecommunications industry. They offer a wide range of products and services, including power systems, energy storage, and renewable energy solutions. Their commitment to excellence and sustainability drives us to deliver reliable, efficient, and eco-friendly energy solutions that support the global telecommunications infrastructure.
This role is crucial for driving the competitive edge of our site energy products in the Middle East and Africa by leveraging market insights, supporting key projects, and fostering innovation through customer collaboration.
Main Responsibilities
Regional Insight and Competitiveness Planning
- Conduct market analysis specific to the region to understand market characteristics and competitive landscape.
- Identify key market areas and customer preferences to develop regional demand insights and strategies.
- Build and maintain the competitiveness of regional product solutions.
Project Support and Leadership
- Focus on key regional projects to address critical issues and enhance product solution competitiveness.
- Act as the "chief of staff" to support the success of major projects.
Joint Innovation Initiatives
- Plan and implement collaborative innovation projects with top regional customers.
- Develop and incubate new product solutions.
Key Capability Requirements
Insight
- Ability to identify basic needs, new technologies, and industry development directions.
- Capability to recognize industry changes and business opportunities, with keen ability to judge business changes.
Product and Solution Competitiveness Planning
- Plan for current and future product generations based on core business scenarios, industry trends, and value areas.
Business Design
- Integrate business design thinking into product technology planning.
- Design end-to-end business logic focused on customer value.
Background & Experience Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Research and development experience with communication energy products, with expertise in power electronics.
- Deep understanding of the telecom energy market.
- Proven experience in gaining insights within the communication energy industry, recognized for accurately identifying industry changes.
- Experience in new product planning and innovation within the communication energy industry, with successful business outcomes.
- Should hold Engineering degree qualification, ideally in Electrical / Power Systems engineering or similar Engineering field
Preferred:
- Experience in communicating with CXO-level customers from carriers or tower merchants.
- Ability to accurately understand and respond to the core demands of industry customers.
- Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage as this role will be reporting to Chinese stakeholders.
