Power BI Developer (Offshore India)
Key Responsibilities:
- Power BI Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, and Procurement, to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications to design, build, and deploy custom reports.
- Optimize Power BI performance by implementing best practices in data modeling and DAX calculations.
- End-to-End BI Lifecycle Management:
- Manage and lead end-to-end BI projects from inception to deployment, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and user acceptance.
- Develop and document project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure project alignment with business goals, tracking progress, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Coordinate post-implementation reviews and incorporate feedback for future improvements
- Azure Data Integration:
- Work with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, etc.) to build robust data pipelines and integrate data sources.
- Manage the end-to-end data integration process, from extraction to reporting, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end BI lifecycle projects, from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Experience working with Finance, HR, or Procurement data and familiarity with business processes in these areas.
- Hands-on experience with ETL and data integration, especially in cloud environments like Azure.
- Proven experience designing wireframes and creating user-centered dashboards with a focus on usability and aesthetic design.
