Job Opportunity:

Adecco, on behalf of our client in the refreshment industry based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an accomplished Finance Director to lead and oversee the financial operations of the company.

About the Role:
The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving sustainable growth. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will oversee the finance team and be a key member of the leadership group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its overall business objectives.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements.
• Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency across financial operations.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks, including those related to investments, operations, and market conditions.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Extensive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards in the UAE.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
